Count them up - we've had 3 snow days plus a 2 hr delayed start today. I still think the school districts tend to error on the extreme side of caution around here, but whatever. My kid got to spend his birthday at home with me and we had a good time.
Saturday we went to the Maryland Science Center which totally rocked. If you haven't been, but live in the area and have kids - you should go. Heck, go if you don't have kids. It's fun.
